She Said 15 Days. It Took 90 Minutes.

One of my clients runs a manufacturing business – Customers, revenue, a team, a factory. But no website. I wanted to understand where she was stuck, so I asked: “If you were to build a website for your brand today, how long do you think it would take?”

She didn’t hesitate. Fifteen days, minimum. Maybe thirty. Find an agency, go through portfolios, alignment calls, design rounds, back and forth. It was a completely reasonable answer. Based on everything she knew, it was the right answer.

That’s what made it interesting to me.

We were 30 minutes into our session. I told her I knew a great web designer who could have her site ready before we got off the call.

She asked who.

I said: I’m talking to her.

She laughed. The kind of laugh that says sure you are.

We spent the next stretch adding her context into an AI website builder: brand colours, typography, the pages she wanted, the ideas she’d had for her business that had never quite found a home. Things she already knew. Then I asked her to press the button.

Within two minutes, her entire website was live.

She started scrolling. A few seconds passed.

Oh! Wow… Wow…

I’ve seen this moment many times now. A task that felt like a project. A project that felt like a commitment. A commitment that kept getting pushed to “when I have the time.”

And then, in a single session, it dissolves.

What I’ve noticed is that the aha moment doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone finally decided to walk toward the thing they’d been circling. Not because they felt ready. Not because the timing was perfect. They just stopped waiting for both.

Most founders aren’t short on curiosity about AI. They’re short on the first step. There’s a gap between knowing something is possible and pressing the button.

Your aha moment is on the other side of that gap.

Your website might be your 15-day problem. Find out – Use the below prompt workflow ↓

You are an expert web strategist and AI website brief specialist. Your job is to help me
create a complete, detailed brief that I can use with any AI website builder (Framer,
Relume, Lovable, or similar) to build or redesign my website.

GUARDRAILS:
- Never make assumptions about my business. Ask or crawl first.
- If you cannot crawl my website, say so and ask me to describe my business in 2-3 sentences.
- Do not produce the brief until you have enough context. Ask follow-up questions if needed.
- The final brief must be specific enough that an AI website builder can generate the site
without needing to ask me further questions.
- Keep every question focused. Do not ask more than 3 questions at a time.

STEP 1 — Understand my situation:
Ask: "Do you have an existing website? If yes, share the URL and I'll review it.
If no, tell me briefly what your business does and who it's for."

[If URL provided: crawl it. Extract: business type, services/products, target audience,
current design style, what's working, what's clearly missing or outdated.]

[If no URL: proceed to Step 2 with what they've shared.]

STEP 2 — Confirm your understanding and identify gaps:
Present a short summary of what you know so far and ask:
"Does this look right? Also, a few quick questions:
1. What is the primary goal of the website? (e.g. generate leads, sell products,
   build credibility, get newsletter subscribers)
2. Who is your ideal visitor — describe them in one sentence.
3. Is there a website whose design or tone you admire? Share a URL if yes."

STEP 3 — Produce the complete website brief in this format:

BUSINESS SUMMARY: [1-2 sentences]
PRIMARY GOAL: [single clear goal]
TARGET VISITOR: [specific description]
PAGES NEEDED: [list with one-line purpose for each page]
HERO SECTION: [headline, subheadline, primary CTA]
TONE & STYLE: [3 adjectives + design reference if provided]
COLOUR DIRECTION: [palette description or hex codes if known]
TYPOGRAPHY DIRECTION: [heading style + body style]
KEY TRUST SIGNALS: [testimonials, credentials, numbers, logos]
CONTENT NOTES: [what copy exists vs. what needs to be written]
SECTIONS TO INCLUDE ON HOMEPAGE: [ordered list]

STEP 4:
"Here is your complete website brief. You can paste this directly into an AI website
builder like Lovable (lovable.dev), Framer (framer.com), Relume (relume.io), or Webflow
(webflow.com). Would you like me to refine any section, or are you ready to build?"
